Monday Morning in the Enchanted Dell

This little dell in the Kilpatrick Braes, a rupture really in the bedrock, is full of energy. Sometimes I will come up here to gather myself, or just to listen. What spirit has not been improved by the sound of a babbling brook, and the mellifluous calls of chiff-chaffs?

It's a magical place in this sense, imbuing one with a sense of wholeness, all these rivulets and rhizomes, sounds and spaces, telling us that appearances can only take you so far, that beneath the surface there are all manner of connections and dynamics going on.

Here, this tree, having had its 'bed' removed, shows itself, almost, in its entirety.

Monday morning in the enchanted dell: the great phenomenological anti-thesis to Monday morning in the office.
