Bombin' the System not Civilians

It must have been about twenty years ago that I first watched the documentary Style Wars and heard a teenage boy tell his mother about his graffiti (style writing) and 'bombing the system'. His mother wasn't too impressed, especially given the fact that her son's bedroom had been transformed into something of a kaleidoscopic workshop due to 'testing paint'. The whole scene is marvellous if only for its naturalism in spite of the camera, and for the mother's unanswered question: what has the system ever done to you?

But of course, the system is death, at least the scientisitic industreality that has taken over the planet in the past two hundred or so years, turning people into robots and slaves whose only purpose is to work not at the behest of Nature (and thus grow and evolve) but at the beck and call of the machine and man's own addled profit-oriented mind. The aboriginal human has thus de-evolved in the past few hundred years whilst his machines and pseudo-technology has 'evolved'. This de-evolution has caused man's mind to become not only slow but stupid as in stupefied by the sideshow that man has made of Nature. Retarded by his own machines and progress, man doesn't even know what his system is anymore, since the system is all he has ever known. And this is why we must bomb it.
